APISTAR FOUNDATION HOLDS GIFT-GIVING and
CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
CABATUAN, ILOILO - The Apistar Foundation, in cooperation with The Ramon Tabiana Memorial
District Hospital, Cabatuan, Maasin, Pavia, and Santa Barbara (RCAMPS) Interlocal Health
Zone and the Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC), sponsored a gift-giving
activity and Christmas party for 53 special children within the jurisdiction of RCAMPS on
December 22, 2006 at the Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital compound in Brgy. Pungtod,
Cabatuan, Iloilo.
It was a day of fun and excitement
for these children especially when
" Santa Claus" handed them gifts.
Despite their disabilities, they
joinednbsp;and enjoyed the parlor
games facilitated by their SPED SPEDbsp;
teachers and the scholars of the
Foundation.
Apistar Foundation president
Rebecca S. Maroma gave an
inspirational message on behalf
founding chair Ferriol C. Apistar.
Maroma said "a special child is God's
choicest gift to man for him to under-
stand the real meaning of love which
incidentally is the message of
Christmas".
The Apistar Foundation thanked Gregorio Anastacio S. Rufon, Jr., M.D., coordinator of RCAMPS
STAC for giving their organization the opportunity to share what little they have with the children.
This is the third year the Foundation conducted the gift-giving activity after its launching and
registration with SEC in 2004. / PN
